Rotary dryer is a universal drying equipment that uses a rotating simplified structure to fully contact materials with hot air, and utilizes heat conduction, convection, and radiation to achieve water evaporation. It is widely used in fields such as fertilizers, ores, and grains. In the fertilizer industry, it has become one of the mainstream equipment due to its adaptability to various forms of materials such as particles and blocks, and its ability to achieve large-scale continuous drying.

1、 Core structure: the key component that determines drying efficiency

The structural design of the rotary dryer revolves around "uniform rolling of materials" and "efficient heat exchange with hot air", mainly composed of six core components:

The core working component in simplified Chinese is usually a cylindrical metal cylinder installed at an angle of 3 ° -5 °, with inner wall welded plates (lifting blades).

The supporting device includes a supporting wheel and a blocking wheel. The supporting wheel supports the weight of the simplified body, ensuring stable rotation of the simplified body; The gear wheel restricts the axial movement of the simplified body to avoid displacement.

The driving device consists of a motor, a reducer, and a large gear. After the motor is reduced by the reducer, it drives the large gear on the simplified body to rotate, controlling the speed of the simplified body (usually 5-15r/min).

The hot air stove (heat source system) is the core that provides hot air for drying. According to different fuels, it can be divided into coal-fired, gas-fired, biomass hot air stoves, etc. The hot air temperature can be adjusted according to material requirements (fertilizer drying usually ranges from 60-120 ℃).

Feeding and discharging device

The dust removal system includes a cyclone separator and a bag filter, which are used to collect dust (especially fertilizer powder) generated during the drying process, reduce air pollution, and recycle the dust for reuse, reducing material loss.
