The longer the organic fertilizer is stored, the easier it is to clump, and the shorter the storage time, the less likely it is to clump. In order to avoid clumping during the production of organic fertilizer equipment, what issues should we pay attention to? Below, the editor will provide a detailed introduction, hoping to help everyone.
a. Reasonable selection of raw materials, that is, selecting materials that are not prone to clumping as the raw materials for our production, such as trace element foliar fertilizers, using iron, copper, manganese, zinc, sulfate and boric acid, ammonium molybdate as raw materials, and magnesium sulfate as the main additive. When the main material is relatively dry and the air is not too humid, the fertilizers produced are not prone to clumping. Fertilizers mainly made of humic acid and amino acid are not prone to clumping. In addition, materials should be selected as dry as possible.
b. Choosing the appropriate production time, as most parts of China belong to the northern temperate zone, the rainy season is mostly concentrated in June, July, August, and the time with higher temperatures is also concentrated at this time. Therefore, the probability of clumping during fertilizer production in spring, late autumn, and winter is lower. This is because the air humidity is low and the temperature is not high, which is not conducive to clumping.
c. Add some anti caking agents, such as talcum powder, humic acid, and other powders that are not prone to clumping. They act as a bridge breaker in the middle. You can also add some surfactants to prevent clumping.
d. Reasonable packaging should be adopted to prevent squeezing. The packaging materials should mainly prevent moisture absorption and breathability. During transportation and storage, excessive squeezing should be avoided, which can effectively prevent agglomeration problems.
e. Granulation technology can prevent clumping, as the contact area between round particles is small, making it less prone to crystallization and clumping. So if conditions permit, granulation is a good method to prevent rapid solidification.
The above are the methods we have introduced to prevent organic fertilizer clumping. We hope our introduction can be helpful to everyone. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
