1. How is traditional straw fermentation achieved

The traditional crop straw composting technology has long fermentation time, poor fermentation effect, and simple equipment, making it suitable for small-scale applications. There are two methods for high-temperature composting: composting and composting. The fermentation method of straw is to first crush the straw with a grinder, but do not over crush it to adjust factors such as moisture, carbon nitrogen ratio, pH value, etc. The ratio of raw materials is the key to improving fertilizer efficiency, and the most suitable carbon to nitrogen ratio for microbial growth activity is 25:1. Fertilizer piles without decomposition agents are generally sealed for about 40 days in summer, and the temperature inside the pile can be raised to 50-60 degrees. After the high-temperature stage inside the pile, internal and external dumping can be carried out. The standard for maturity is: black, rotten, and smelly, that is, the straw turns brown or black brown, is soft and elastic when held by hand when wet, and is brittle and easy to break when dry.
